A classic shape redesigned
Based on the original Mantis shape which was used all the way back in 1987 by Team MidWest to dominate the Round Rang Relay event at the first International Team Cup. The Helix is smaller and lighter and intended for easy short-range throwing. We have also made the elbow section a little rounder more like a Skippy to give it more hover. Made of 5mm 10-ply birch plywood and has a range of 30 meters.
